Our Story

EkoRoofers was founded with one simple belief: business can and should make the world better.

The company is led by three owners with completely different backgrounds, united by the same values and purpose. Dwight Chillious brings the perspective of the city and national leadership. Randy Smith represents the grit, work ethic, and humility of a small town. Kris Natarajan adds a global mindset shaped by international experience. Together, their diversity forms a rare and powerful leadership team.

Before EkoRoofers, Randy and Kris built and operated multiple businesses with a shared mission to serve beyond the four walls of the company. Every venture they touched was designed to give back, strengthen communities, and leave the world better than they found it. Through service, faith, and environmental stewardship, they proved that profit and purpose do not have to compete.

Together, they formed EkoRoofers with an experienced, talented, and veteran team focused on selfless service. The mission is simple but uncompromising: deliver the best experience, the best professionals, fair and honest pricing, and the highest-quality products and installation in the country.

Everyone deserves a safe home and a quality roof over their head. At the same time, everyone deserves a healthier world to live in.

That’s why for every roof installed, EkoRoofers plants ten trees, many by our own hands.

Ryan Willen, Director of Sales and Operations

Ryan Willen serves as Director of Sales and Operations with over 10 years of experience in the roofing industry. His background spans all levels of the business, from small companies to large operations, giving him a comprehensive understanding of every stage of the roofing process.

Known for blending compassion, professionalism, and deep industry knowledge, Ryan is committed to delivering a remarkable experience for both clients and team members. Clear communication, unwavering support, and a solutions-focused mindset are central to his leadership approach.

Born and raised in Dayton, Ohio, Ryan has proudly served the Central and Southwestern regions of the state throughout his career. He is proud to be part of a company that prioritizes community service, faith, professionalism, and doing the right thing.

Ryan lives in Bellbrook, Ohio, with his wife and their young son. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active outdoors, and following sports—especially football and golf. A loyal Cleveland Browns fan, he shares a friendly household rivalry with his wife, a Cincinnati Bengals supporter, while both cheer on the Ohio State Buckeyes.
